This dictionary gives linguistic information on the western or Lorom variety of Koromfe, a small language of northern Burkina Faso (West Africa). Translations of words and examples are given in English, French and German. It is aimed at linguists and (would-be) speakers alike. The alphabet used here, namely:a ã ʌ ʌ̃ b d ɛ ɛ̃ e ẽ f g h ɩ ɩ̃ i ĩ k l m n ŋ ɔ ɔ̃ o õ p r s t ʋ ʋ̃ u ũ v w y ỹ z əis the national alphabet approved by the “Commission Nationale des Langues Burkinabè”, plus a few necessary additions. This alphabet is also used in the Koromfe grammar of Rennison, 1997 (with 3 substitutions: /j,ɪ,ʊ/ are now /y,ɩ,ʋ/), with the dictionary .PDF distributed on the internet, and with literacy and numeracy materials of Western Koromfe (Lorom koromfe karəmam la wãrgam tɩtɛ pote).I thank all my language consultants my 40 years of sporadic fieldwork and apologise in advanced for any errors or inconsistencies. Work on the dictionary is ongoing. Now a couple of words to the speakers of Koromfe:Je m’excuse pour ne pas avoir pu donner toutes les informations en français. Une version française est en train d’être produite. Mə posrə na dʋrʋ barka ke na hɔ̃ŋgɛ mɩ na wɔgɔ.
